A friend gave me his PC to look at as it will not post. No beeps, the hard drives and cd drives all start up, the processor fan and video card fan all work as well. I've stripped all the components out to just the CPU and it still won't give any error codes. Is there any easy way to tell if it's the motherboard or a dead processor? Any advice would be appreciated.
