My pc has been running fine for the last year with no problems. I have been using my girlfriends keyboard which has a usb connection and sometimes I have to restart the computer to get it to recognize the keyboard. That is the only problem I have had. I disconnected my pc and hooked up a co-workers pc to remove some spyware from it and when I was done and hooked back up my pc it won't boot-up windows I see my ASUS logo (splash screen) and I have checked the post screen and everything checks out ok, the Windows XP logo comes up for about 3-5 seconds as if its loading windows, then the XP logo disappears and after a couple seconds it starts all over and I see my ASUS logo (splash screen) and I get the "windows was not shutdown properly with the boot options to choose from "normal, safe mode, last known good config." Doesn't matter what I choose the same thing happens. After none of the boot options worked I reseated the memory and graphics card which did nothing. Don't know if this matters but when the pc restarts itself during boot-up the monitor says "sync out of range". Please help...I was almost at the end of the game F.E.A.R. and I really don't want to re-install Windows,Steam,HL2,Doom, Office XP,Windows updates and play F.E.A.R. all the way to where I was near the end. F.Y.I. I keep an updated virus protector and spyware remover. MOBO = ASUS A7N8X Deluxe,
xp 2500 cpu/ Overclocked to XP3200, Radeon 9800 128mb, 2 - 512mb/duel channel. I also loaded the default BIOS settings which did not help. Please any suggestions, Hi my name is Jay and I'm a Gamer'holic. Pleez help

What does this mean?

That you removed infections from the pc?
A great man once said
"There is a solution for everything. Except one thing, life."

You could try running a system file check from the XP recovery console. I would also use memtest86+ to test your ram. If you have another computer you could try swaping out some components to try and narrow down the problem that might narrow down the problem a little bit.
