Hi, I need your help please
this is the problem when I turn on the power ,the PS and cpu fan start. Also the hard drive and cd rom light blink. I can hear the hard drive starting. I don't see the lights on the keyboard and floppy come on. it seems like the bios isnt even initializing the floppy drive. The moitor powers up but that is about it. I dont get any bios screen or text. No beeps either.
this is what i've done but the problem remains intact
I removed the mainboard from its case and disconnect all but floppy, CPU, and memory, (the VGA is integrated), then I swapped the cmos battery with a new one and clear the cmos with the jumper, insert another memory module, Changed the ATX PS by another totally good, turn on the power again but nothing helped.possible cause/mistake
Before the problem appeared, I remember that I took out the ram memory and put it back again (just to see what brand it was), when the power cord was still plugged, altough the PC was shut down, i think that maybe the mainboard died when I did that, cause AFAIK ATX keeps supplying the PC even if this one is shut down, Right?
---> the mainboard is a PCCHIPS 741lmrt with celeron 466Mhz, 64MB PC100, and all peripherals integrated.
Thanks In Advance.

there could be possible reasons for this.
one, your processor could have died or entered its failure state. if this is so, u need to either replace it, or take it in for warranty to get it fixed. (Intel should do that, or your vendor if your vendor's warranty is still intact)
two, your mainboard's jumper settings could be messed up. check the manual and make sure all jumpers are where they should be.
three, when u start up, and nothing appears on screen, turn your computer off, but leave the power on, DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR PC. reseat your videocard, which when i mean reseating it i mean taking it out, and putting it back in while the power is on. this way, your computer will detect your videocard. turn your pc on after reseating the card.
four, your RAM stick is either faulty or not inserted well. Make sure it is inserted correcty and tightly fit into the slot. If this is not the issue, try using a different RAM stick.
IF ALL THESE ARE NOT THE CAUSES, you prolly have a bad BIOS chip, or its something external, like your Power Supply...
other than that, idk, but goodluck!
