PC won't boot after power outage SOLVED

Specs: Windows Vista, AMD Phenom II X4 940/8gb ram
Power outage this morning, computer is attached to a surge protector. Computer now won't boot even to bios, motherboards lights are on, fans run, CDROM is in a boot up loop where it just keeps cycling. Please help :(

Fixed my own problem. Unplugged power source, held power button for ten seconds then left the computer for an hour. Plugged it back in and now it boots up again. woot! :)
