Specs: Windows 7
since shortly, every time i put a burned cdr or dvdr into my laptop, it will not play, but asks for files to burn. Those discs play perfectly on other pc's. Computer will burn empty discs perfectly. After reloading to original factory settings, he will play a couple of cdr or dvdr, but then "please enter files to burn". Scanned with two anti-virus programs, which did not detect anything wrong. What can be done?

Okay, so you put the cd/dvd in and the first thing you see is a pop-up asking what you want to burn onto the disc? It sounds like your burning program got set as the default when you put a disc into your computer.

You can change this by putting in the disc, right clicking on the cd-rom drive and selecting "Open With...", you can then select Windows Explorer from that point and that should fix your problem.
