Recently when I try to start my pc up it will turn on and then go off, i'd have to flick the power swticth at the back off and then turn it on, press the power switch on my pc to get it going. Sometimes this works after a few trys.

Today my pc encountered the blue screen of death and i was forced to restart, so I switched off my pc and tryed to turn it on, but now, after at least 100 trys of flicking the switch and turning the power on and off the pc's lights will come on and go off after no more than 1 second. My website and Network depend on my pc, if anyone knows what the problem is i'd like to get this fixed as soon as possible.

how old is your computer, what are the computer specs, and why does your website and network depend on that machine. First of all you shouldn't be hosting a http website on an unreliable machine. Second, unless you use Windows ICS it shouldn't matter if that computer is on or off...

his comp is quite new p4 as shown in yellow bar. i dont think he thought his machine was unreliable.
ok how familiar are you with the inside of a pc?
could you disconnect everything but one stick of ram your graphics card and cpu mobo. see if you can get it to post to bios.
then connect your hd then see if it will boot?
i think it may be your psu which has falied but am not sure taking these steps to eliminate other possible causes

more than sounds like it. are you in the uk or us.
i'd suggest buying or lending a cheap one say 450watt if your in the uk ebuyer do some around a tenner.
basically to test. save spending money on a decnet psu to find thats not your problem. if all works fine. then its upto you if you want to get a good psu that wont fail you again
