Message: so i typed the title into google and it led me here. I built the PC 3 years ago and this is the first problem I ran into. I recently just moved backed into college over winter break. had the PC packed into a suitcase which a bunch of clothing to snug it nice and tight. Went down some stairs do not think it was an issue. Used it yesterday at home and it was okay but just tried in my dorm room and it turns on but the monitor won't, checked all the plugs, cleaned it out. reinstalled all the two graphics cards and everything else except the CPU, tried the monitor on my laptop and the monitor works so its not that. . interesting thing though when i turn it on and then hold power button to turn off it would sometimes make my fans go faster and the LEDs light brighter. Please help need the PC for school!

If the computer has an onboard video it may be booting to it. Move monitor to that and set bios to pci/e

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
