Specs: Windows 7, 2 GB
Hello pro's... I have a strange problem with my PC that it turns off automatically even without a warning . Sometimes while installing applications and sometimes even while booting.
So i thought it would be SMPS problem and replaced it. But still i have the same problem. Finally i changed my MOTHER BOARD, PROCESSOR and RAM along with SMPS and still this problem exists. What else can i do to solve this problem, can anybody help me out.
Can that be a Hard drive problem ( bad sectors )
System details:
New processor, smps , motherboard and ram.
Hard drive ( 80 GB IDE )
No other hardwares installed.

Well it looks like the hd is the only thing left. Sounds like it is set to reboot on error.

Which is a good thing as it is a warning of up coming failures. It could just be a software glitch but then again.....as suspected a bad sector.

I would download the manufactures hd diagnostics software (free) and the use a free program to check the registry.
