Comment:

I got a new System with the below configuration:
Processor: Intel Pentium D 2.66GHz
Motherboard: Intel 945GNTL

I bought new "EACAN 2.1 multimedia speakers" and connected it to the system sound point. They were working fine. I then was checking the setup and configuration of the speakers with "Intel Audio Studio v. 2.0", meanwhile the PC hangup and I had to restart manually. Since then the speakers are not working. I tried reintalling the Intel Audio Studio. But there is no output yet. Same jack point is working fine with the headphones but not with the speakers.

Any suggestions please !

Do the speakers have power? Did the cat pull out the AC plug?

If you have checked what ham30 has suggested then try the following b4 lobbing your speakers in the rubbish bin:

1 CLICK START
2 CLICK CONTROL PANEL
3 CLICK SOUND, SPEACH, AND AUDIO DEVICES

4.CLICK SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES
5.USING THE MOUSE MOVE THE DEVICE VOLUME SLIDER TO THE HIGH POSITION
6. CLICK ON AUDIO TAB
7. MAKE SURE SOUND PLAYBACK IS SET TO CORRECT DEFAULT DEVICE
8. MAKE SURE MIDI MUSIC PLAYBACK IS SET TO CORRECT DEFAULT DEVICE.
