I have a problem: This computer re-starts every time is being shut down. This happens no matter what the Operating System is. Any help will be well appreciated.

Could anybody tell me how to fix this problem:
This machine is using a serial mouse. I have to re-install the serial mouse drivers every time I boot this machine.

Hi Robert! First I can tell you why you always have to reinstall your serial mouse drivers. In fact serial mouses and keyboards are kinda old and Windows don't recognize them :Þ
For your restarting problems, you should check out your BIOS Power management settings and check in your registry under local machine - sofware - microsoft - windows - winlogon - PowerdownAfterShutDown and look if it's fowarded by a 1 or 0. If there's a 0, double click on it and remplace it by a 1.
