PC - only black screen

Hi there.. I have had some problems with my PC freezing, not even able to move the mouse, and all USB devices dying when this happens. I figured I would try to check all connections inside the PC, so I opened it and reconnected them all, hoping this might fix the issue.
However, when I try turn on the PC now, all I get is... nothing. Not even access to the bios. The screen is as if the PC was turned off, but I can hear that the harddisks are running.
I have a MSI k8t neo, and sata drives and a AMD 3000+. Please help :(

When you say 'reconnected them all' do you mean you just pulled everything out and put it back again? Did you take any anti-static precautions. I don't mean to patronise, but check the monitor cable connection - always worth a try; you'd kick yourself if you found out after replacing your graphics card or something :p

Yes, I disconnected and reconnected like instructed in my manual from MSI. I have also checked the graphics card/monitor connection.

Hello, Double check everything again. Reseat cards again. Double check your work. Apply power. If no results reseat the CPU, memory and power up again. Make sure all connections are solid.
