My dell vostro 1510 asks for HDD password. When i give it,a black screen comes and asks to choose from following a)start windows safe mode b)start windows normally and so on... After entering choice XP logo screen comes for 3-4 secs and then pc gets off automatically and again it start automatically and same above process. Plz help me my pc is just 6 months old.

Start in safe mode,if failed to start in safe mode u have virus,if u have partions,format the partion which contain os,if u don't have partion connect your hdd to another pc and back up your files.
