PC keeps shutting down after a few minutes.

Specs: Windows 10
My PC keeps shutting down suddenly while I'm doing nothing after that it just restarts by itself. I tested the ram and the CPU, the temps are fine too. I just need to know if its my psu, I did some test with the psu I took the power out of the 2 out of 3 hard drives. It turned on and kept going for a while but it just shut down again. Also my power button on my case is messed up but its works if I Fidel with the cables. I try taking out the power Sw from the mother board but still it shuts down and restarts by its self. At this point idk what to do I really need my PC for school right now. If someone could help me solve this problem that will be great.

As regards the power button:

Whenever you move cables and it causes a noticeable change then this means that the fault is very close to where the movement is being made. Check all connections in that area and also look out for short circuits (wires touching each other etc).

It is possible that the power button fault is causing the shut down issue. It might be the power button itself.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I think it's unlikely the power button is to blame. It's just a momentarily switch like a doorbell button - press/release & it's out of the picture. The only possibility could be that the wires are shorting out.

My guess is you have a PSU that's either growing tired or it's overloaded, or it's just a cheap POS. Please post your complete system specs in as much detail as possible & include the make/model/wattage of the PSU. BTW, there is no good way to test a PSU unless you have extremely expensive test equipment. You can check that the voltage rails are within tolerance using a multi-meter, but there's no way to test amperage output.

Is there any voltage monitoring feature in your BIOS?
Check if the voltage is stable.
