PC Health Status

Specs: Win XP pro sp2, XP1800+/512mb 3200 DDR

I have just come back after a few days away , started up my computers and found one with no temps in speedfan . Investigated further went into CMOS and in PC Health Status fan speeds ok power ok but temps show nothing all zeros . Looks like my sensor is not working winbond W83627HF (ISA290h) .

How would this have happened do you think ?

Could I have lost the settings perhaps , or do you think my M/B is on the way out .

I have been having troubles with partition magic 8.0 and I get a error message xmnt2002 program not found , but I cant see what this has got to do with my lost temps .

Hopefully someone may know , or have seen this problem , I certainly have not .

Thanks

Peter

"Investigated further went into CMOS and in PC Health Status fan speeds ok power ok but temps show nothing all zeros ."

Bad sensor or sensor circuitry.

"Could I have lost the settings perhaps , or do you think my M/B is on the way out ."

Time will tell.
