Greetings, I have 2 Dell Optiplex PC's. They both operate fine, until I hook them to a KVM Switch, then 1 continues to Start and Function fine, while the other one "Freezes" the moment I press a Keyboard Key! I have switched the cables to the other side of the KVM switch, and switched Keyboards and Mouse-Still there-The Freezing follows the one pc, other one ok! The one operating okay is Windows XP,the problem PC has 3 partitions of various Windows 7 Builds.

I have a 4 port mechanical kvm switch.
If I start computer 1 the switch better be on A. If not on A switching back wont work as the mouse and keyboard are not seen.
When all for computers are running...one will lose it's mouse and keyboard if i switch back and forth.
Some computers just don't do well losing their mouse and keyboard.........from being switched off.

What brand of KVM are you using? MIne is Iogear KVM purchased in 2005, This KVM never have given me problems except when my tired feet accidentially disconnected the cables.
