HI,
Well, here is my dilimma. The PC Chips M755 board only has 2 PCI slots. One holds the ATI Xpert 2000 16meg edition (hey, its better than the SIS 630 onboard crap) and the other holds the USB 2.0 card for my 24x CDRW I have. OK, Anyway, it has an AMR slot, so I bought one on ebay. I enabled it in the Bios, but it only recognises it in XP as "Unknown Device". Then I got to reading the documentation and it says that it is for "an intel chipset". So, this question is 2-fold. Does anyone know the chipset for this board? And if so, what AMR card do i get? (Yes, I know AMR isan't that great, but I'm not ready to spend 50 bucks on a USB/Serial modem that I may not use in 6 months).
Thanks in advance for your help,
Gerald

the board has an sis 630 chipset. No idea about the amr card. The link below is a good pc chips site

Do you live in UK, do you want to buy an external 56K modem?? 3COM USRobotics Voice Faxmodem includes W3.x/9x drivers disk, will run as generic under XP!
