First error, dump McAfee. Install Avast Free version.

Start systematically.
Have you downloaded the latest drivers for motherboard and graphics?
Reset defaults in your BIOS.
Make sure your memory is set in BIOS according to Corsair specs.
Run Memtest to see if you have any memory errors. Retest one at a time.
Try it with first two and then one stick of memory.
Run Seatools long test to test hard drive.
Install Speedfan or HWMonitor and post your temperatures:
1- at start up 2- after 10 min idle 3- while running program or game
>Depending on your temperatures you may need to reset your heat sink on your CPU, reapplying the thermal compound.<
What heat sink are you using? What thermal compound and what application method?
** Post back results and more details on exactly what the machine is doing before locking up**

Consider running a smaller fast hard drive (possibly SSD drive) for Windows and programs and the 2GB one for data to get the most out of your system.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

I'm wandering how many programs you have running in the background and how much virtual memory you have?
