Hi, I just dug out my mother board box (p4m8900m2) and decided to install pc alert 4. However after installing the alarm for CPU tempeerature is constantly going off at over 270 degrees Celsius (about 500 degrees Fahrenheit) this is obviously not correct but i was wondering if this is a common problem or not. Thanks

Best bet would be to check the temp in the bios.
