Hi, I am going to be builing my own computer this X-mas(first time) and I wanted to make sure that there is nothing wrong or bad about what I am getting.
CPU: amd athlong xp 2100+
Mobo: Gigabyte KT400 7VAXP 8X AGP RAID DDR 400
Case: FS-710 PW/Enermax BB-1030 with 430 watt power supply
Ram: 256 mb DDR 2700 CAS-2/Heatsink CMX CorsairThe reason I am getting DDR333 ram with a 266
processor is because in the future I do plan
on overclocking, probly not w/ my 2100+ but aleast with something. The mobo I am getting comes w/ firewire, usb 2.0, duel bios, raid, and supports 1600, 2100, 2700, 3200 ram so I figured it was a good buy compared to the asus at its price(108$). I would get more ram but I am trying to keep this under 500$, its adds up to 493$ so I am at my limit. I will get everything else form another computer which will be good enough for now. Just want make sure I am not buying crap.
Thanks for any replies.
