Hi I bought this HD with the intention of using it between my desktop, laptop and xbox360. I Found out that I Needed to put a FAT32 partition on it in order to use it with my xbox. I tried to make a FAT32 partition on it but now my computer only recognizes a 196 GB NTFS partition. I cant seem to get the remaining memory to show up anywhere. Any ideas how to get this memory back and make the 2 partitions correctly? thanks in advance.

I think the limit is 32gig for fat32 partitions.

You may have to assign a drive letter. See admin tools computer management storage.

First of all hard drives contain storage space, not memory. What tool did you use to format?

That USB drive has some additional software included from the factory. Do you want to keep that software or lose it?

Go to the link below and read what the added software can do.

If you wish to lose if you can use a version of Seatools designed for USB drives and download from that same site.
