Hi All,
I have recently purchased Kingston KVR667D2S5 1 GB 128M X 64-Bit DDR2-667 CL5 200-Pin SODIMM to boost Toshiba laptop memory, which is currently running
INFINEON Qimonda 512MB SO DIMM - DDR2:PC2-5300/667 (HYS64T64X20HDL-3S-B)

I would like to pair the two sets of ram however do not know if they will be compatible? I would be appreciative if some one can suggest how to distinguish if these two products can practically & safely run together? What is important to note when pairing ram?

I would also be appreciative if any one could suggest some ram/memory testing programs??

Thanks very Much

Your manual should be a good guide. I believe Kingston has a memory configerator as does Crucial.com. For testing memory modules try memtest86. Find it here: http://www.memtest86.com/download.html
