please for help. my computer using 256MB of DDR.
this while my computer "Page File Usage" (Virtual Memory) is keep rising up to 700 - 800MB for certain time will got it down and will get up again after a while.
i tried to set the Page File limited in control panel > System. But its doesn't work, that will break the max limit i set.
i think is my Hardware part cause the problem. Do anyone could help or know how to solve this problem?

This is because you system is running out of main memory and switching to virtual memory. I too only have 256MB which always runs out, and the page file increases occasionally when lots of memory is being used.
To solve it, install more RAM.

DO NOT limit the page file size!! It can cause system crashes.
The page file is used when you don't have enough RAM to take care of all the programs that you are trying to run.
Two choices: 1. Cut down on the number of programs that you run at one time. 2. Add more RAM.
Summary: The settings stuck because I checked and it said 0MB virtual memory and 50MB when I set it to that. In response to #1- Like I said I dont care about best practices I'm trying to understand how it work...
