Specs: Windows 8
I have a Packard Bell Easynote TE and the hard drive has died completely. My pc shop said it needs a new hard drive and then the OS reloading. I have looked on the internet to buy a hard drive but cant seem to locate one for this model. Please advise as to where I can purchase one. Many thanks indeed.

That series has multiple models but all seem to be fairly new. I found a review written in May of 2013. So, the laptop should use a 2.5" SATA hard drive. Your shop should be able to get a hard drive that will work and install it.

If you want to know for sure then open the hard drive bay on the bottom of the laptop and read the label.

Hi Welshery,

where are you based, town/state? This has a bearing on where best to obtain a new hd.

There are probably numerous makes of disk with varying capacities that fit in you Packard Bell.

If you advise the full number model number of your Packard, and maybe same (or capacity) of it the failed disk, someone here may help with recommending a replacement. Almost certainly one with larger capacity.

Good Luck - Keep us posted.
