Where is the serial number located on the desktop? The serial number is located on the right hand side of the desktop tower near the bottom of the side panel on a white label with a 22 character serial number starting with the letter "P". On older systems the serial number may be located on the back or bottom of the case.
Alternatively, the serial number will be located in the Basic Input Output System (BIOS) setup pages, which can be entered by pressing the F2 key when turning the desktop on.
Isn't that funny how posters don't even ask for help....a bit of courtesy goes a long way
