Comment:

I switched wireless companies a month ago. Since we have switched everything is fine except for my P2P programs, Limewire and Morpheus. When I try to download a song in Limewire it either won't work or it goes VERY slowly. (1 kbps) When I download things from Internet Explorer it works fine. Do you know why it would be doing this and what I can do to fix it? Thank You!

i think it's related with a firewall, open the ports that the P2P software needs if you are using a router it probably has a firewall also.

Ok, I talked to my new ISP and they say that they limit the speed of P2P programs. I think they said they limit how much the ports will allow on the router. It is a D-Link DI-524 router. Thanks for telling my when I sigen up I basically can't download songs or anything anymore. There has to be a way around this, isn't there? They told me on the phone to not hit the reset button on the router cause it would set it back to factory and I'd have to know the gateway and stuff. What can I do? Thanks!

Hello
what is your ISP and as you might be able to find router setting's on Google or some one on here might know and you can reset MAYBE getting rid off limitation.
