I have a Toshiba Satellite A215-S72416
It overheats at anytask requiring 25% or more cpu power. The fan in the bottom doesnt spin. Could it clogged with dust or just a error making it not spin. I updated my BIOS but still nothing

If the fan isn't working, I strongly advice to substitude the currupt fan.
Otherwise the processor may die by overheating.

I have a Fan under it at all times now but i called staples and asked and they said it would be 370$$ :O! for fan replacement. Could the problem be anything easy like a switch turned off.

I guess, it's not.
If the machine is powered off, can you spin it manually by hand?
It should then turn a few rounds by itself.
If not, the ball bearing is corrupt.

Btw: Is it a desktop pc or a notebook?

I've no idea. You might have to check eBay or whatever, to get possibly a cheep used one.
Why do one punsh on a laptop???
I have never heard of one, that a punsh on a computer ever helped on a problem. It only helps hardware dealers.
