Can I overclock my LG GCE-8240B CD-RW to GCE-8480B by flashing the firmware of the GCE-8480B. If possible please post the information with the links,if possible. Waiting for some posts......thanks in advance.....

Here is a good idea: go to CompUSA, pay $40 for a 100 pack of 48x CD-R's and get a free 48x24x48 CD-RW drive. The drive work well (burns a CD in less than 2 minutes) :)

Thanks a lot for that suggestion dude.....But there is a little problem there.I live in India and if i buy the product specified by you then I will have to pay for the transportation & also 100% excise duty.So it will go to about 100$.As you see i can purchase a fastest writer out there i that amount of money....
