hi my laptop is running at 70C when under a load
and 50C when not and thats with a cooling pad
under it anybody have any idea on how to help
cool it i clean the vents every 2 weeks but no diffP.S. i can almost cook off it some days

elevate the rear of computer will be more conducive to heat dissipation. or, you could reset the performance (in the battery management where you can tune), limit the CPU power, (the same as the local transfer), so the temperature will drop . wish it could be helpful.

With everything--CPU, GPU, core logic, HDD, RAM--crammed beneath the keyboard, it's no surprise that laptops run much hotter than desktops.
70C under load ain't bad for a laptop. My laptop idles at 40 and hits 81C under full (CPU+GPU) load--and it has Arctic Silver 5 on the CPU! It never reboots, shuts off, or throttles the processor clock--notebook CPUs are meant to take the heat.
