BTW this was a sorta Budget PC. Try not to base opinions on High End components.

Whats the point of getting opinions after you have already built it? Any comments or recommendations we make now will not be valid the next time you need to build a machine.

Since it's running well, then yes, you made good choices. Congratulations on your first build.

No real criticism. I would have gone with 2GB RAM. But seeing as you were on a limited budget (aren't we all) and since you have two open slots for an additional GIG later on there's nothing wrong with that.

I have that same MoBo. many would argue that paying for SLI is a waste since it may never be worth it (by the time you need to upgrade you could get better performance from a new single card). But, I always like to keep my options open.

I would also have tried to jump up to the 7900 if at all possible. but the 6600 is a very decent card - especially for the price.

I would be concerned about the cheap L & C TECHNOLOGY 400W PSU (LC-B400ATX) that came in the Rosewill case. The case sells for about $50 at newegg...a decent 400W PSU sells for $50. Guess where they cut corners?
