Opening laptop tutorial

Specs: Windows 7
I need to find a tutorial on how to open up an Acer Aspire 5516 so i can do a Cpu change so any tutorials would be appreciated.

side-question: Do i need thermal glue (as in, is it an absolute requirement for Cpu's?) because i am planning to replace a 15w Processor with a 31w one..

I didn't look for your laptop model.

Yes, you need thermal paste, heatsink compound.

My guess is you can't change it without a solder pot or hot air device made to remove flat packs.

What is the purpose of this upgrade? What is it that you can't do with your current CPU? Is this what you have?

Watch HD videos without Lag, Faster start-up, run more applications at once and make it notebook worthy (it has the power of a netbook, that dis-pleases me) plus it will be fun :)

@jefro: what?
