one partition on my harddrive just

since I rebooted my os one partition on my harddrive just gone,I can see it, it stands there (lokal drive c:) but I cant explore it message:"C:\not accessible. The parameter is incorrect". I cant check it, I cant format it, It doesen't show size or space an I cant change the label on it!!!please help half my harddrive space an files is gone an I've no clue what to do...

Hi,
By 'rebooted my os' I guess you mean reinstalled it.
What info do you have on the partition which you CAN access?
type ? size ? used ? free ? file system ?

I've tried to format the drive in windows, whit partition magic, and in ms dos but nothing works!!! all of my other partitions works properly so....

If you reinstalled win2k on a NTFS C: partition, you will not be able to see that drive from a Dos floppy, if that's what you are trying to do. Dos does not understand NTFS.

thanks everyone but i've solved the problem by format it whit manufacturers harddrive wizard..appers that was the only solotion!
