Hello, I have a Dell Celeron 700 Mhz with an onboard 82801AA bus master ide controller. As best as I can tell, it runs at ATA66.
I have a 2.5 year old Promise Tech Ultra66 controller laying around.
Would I get any jump in speed by putting the Promise Tech card in my Celeron box and using it instead of the onboard controller?

If you've got an ATA 100 or ATA 133 HDD, you might really notice if you got a ATA 100 or ATA 133 PCI adapter.
