I have got this old motherboard, and I am not able to find out what the make the motherboard is. It has an "Intel i486 sx", it has an S/N: of 9306009385. And at the back of the board it has label with "VI-H 93" and above that it has the words "YANG AN YA-1 E114139 94V-0 9322" any ideas?. I am not that cleave at telling you what this board has so I can’t tell you any thing about Slots or any thing like that, I have no motherboard manual. If any one can help find the website of this board or any info on it I will most grateful.

Marty, I checked google.com and all I was able to find were links in a language other than english. But I can tell you one thing, it uses a 486SX cpu. These chips were a stripped down model of the 486, without a math coprocessor. They were very limited in their day as to what software you could run, and of course, today everything needs a Pentium class cpu. I personally wouldn't put a lot of time into this board.

OK. just do the following: - reboot your system. - when the system begin booting press Pause/Preak button. - jet down the serial number which appears usually at the bottom of the screen (something like this : MV85010A.86A.0011.P05) - post it back to me via this forum or to my email address islamsoft@hotmail.com will be waiting
This old MoBo is fine for DOS W3.x even W95 might do a snails walk with 8MB RAM. Use EZNOS and build yourself a Webserver, all you need is power supply, floppy drive, MoBo and CPU, 4MB memory, ISA graphics card, old monitor and to be posh maybe a case as well...........
