Old Motherboard Problem (RAM)

Specs: Windows XP
I have a old computer with Pentium 4 and Windows 2000

I replaced Windows 2000 with Windows XP

Now the Windows XP is only detecting 2 memory slots. I have four.

Acer S80X (Socket 603)
Intel i850 chipset
128 MB dual channel RDRAM @400Mhz

You may have CRIMMS (dummy) modules filling the other two slots. All slots on your motherboard must be filled. Look at the link below. Read the Performance section.

128MB isn't enough to run WinXP. Go back to Win2K.
