Hi - I have an old IBM 380e which I have just dug out from my cupboard. Ive owned it from new, when back in 1996 it cost a stagering £4000.... or somthing along thoes lines!

Anyway, i was going to buy some ram 64mb @ £1 (bargain) and also was wondering if it could be overclocked, dont laugh but its a 150mhz Intel 1 CPU with 430MX board.

Any software that might help me, or anyone know how i can get into BIOS>?

Regards
Aaron

lol.. overclocking that thing would prolly kill it, i'd suggest not to, if you really wanna use it then just buy more ram, (its cheap so buy a couple sticks)

yeah dude laptops that overclock are few and far, sry i cant name any off the top of my head. It sounds like and alright laptop for internet and stuff anywase. As far as the ram put it in. if you really want to oc somthing on it try to overclock the ram but that can be VERY risky debeding on your ram so i would hold off on that. later

I'd use it as is...my P133/32Mb laptop runs 98se and Office 97 just fine. You'll be flying right along with 64Mb and Win95.

As stated above, chances of overclocking that thing are either zero or a little less than zero.

Accessing bios on an IBM is done by pressing the F1 key as the system boots.
