I have a old sharp laptop, recently changed to run on winxp. It does not charge the battery at all or just a little bit (charging indicator led does not turn on as well). But I can get it recharged still, by taking out the battery and charge it separately with another power sourde. Does anybody know how to fix this?
have you tried another power supply for the laptop? when you say you can get it charged with another power source what do you mean? are you charging the laptop from a docking station or just a power supply?
