Hey people sorry to bother you again,
I have got this Old computer up and running and I have been working on it to get it to run smoothly. I mainly use this PC as a music, internet machine and sometimes IM. Since I got a nice little MP3 player fro christmas I was thinking it would be good to be able to plug it into this machine and swap files and music. Here is the prob: The motherboard has two USB V1.0 onboard but it dosent actually have the USB plugs anymore so Just the pins on the M/B. So I thaught just buy a PCI USB card as they are cheap as dirt, but I'm not sure how this computer will handle transferring files and if it will crash. These are the system specs:

AB-PR5 Motherboard
Cyrix PR166+ running at 150Mhz (PR200+)
64Mb Ram
32Gb HDD (Cliped 80Gb HDD)
Windows 98SE

Thats the main stuff. So will this computer handle a USB 2.0 card? It would be handy to have USB on this PC for flash drives too.
Thanks for you input.

It ought to work fine.

There is a patched BIOS for your motherboard that would support up to 128 gig hard drives. And the best part is it is free!

Thanks street1 and repo man, I think I will buy the USB controller or look for USB headers so I can use the onboard controller. I dont know what I am gonna do with the rest of my hard drive space now, because Iv'e still got 17Gb free of that 32 anyway. I suppose I can just use it to store more junk from my other computers. Thanks guys.
