Hey guys, just wondering if anyone could help me with a monitor problem. About a week ago my monitor started to randomly change brightness and colors. I've gotten to stop changes colors and brightness randomly but its still too bright and the colors bleed a bit and depending on the onscreen colors its hard to see anything. I tried messing with settings for my vid card "ATI" my monitor settings and everything. Whats really strange is the monitor controls on the monitor itself dont bring up the menu, they just cycle through the screwed up colors and brightness levels. If anyone has had this occur or has any ideas on how to fix it please let me know.

Yep, the CRT could be shot (doubt it). Or a few electrolytic capacitors on the CRT board may have gone bad, or you could have a corrupted memory chip.

Needless to say, you need a new monitor!
