OS: Windows XP SP2
CPU/Ram: 48 MB
Model/Manufacturer: HP 4200
Comment:
Hi all,

Print jobs coming from a networked HP4200 are appearing with a number of extra pages which are blank except for a 'club' symbol in the top left hand corner of each page. This printer has 2 NICs (connected to 2 networks). The error appears to be associated with one of these networks only. We have replaced the NIC within the printer and then replaced the actual printer itself. We have also connected the printer to the network via different network dop points- none of these approaches fix the problem. However, attaching the printer locally to a PC via parallel port works fine. Any ideas? Could there be a driver issue?

It's most likely, as unlikely as it may seem, that it's the print driver.

Uninstall and reinstall.

And yes, I know it works locally just fine.

Coming home from very lonely places, all of us go a little mad: whether from great personal success, or just an all-night drive, we are the sole survivors of a world no one else has ever seen.
