when i use nvidia's latest chipset driver the 6.86 version, it doesnt update the pata controller at all but all the sata controllers are updated to version 5.10.2600.666. i tried updating it manually using the legacy, sata_ide, and sataraid folders still wont update just says it cannot find a better version or something. why is it not letting me update my pata controller?. can anyone help me on this please thanks.
