nv4 infinite loop error

Specs: Windows XP
Alright i have a msi nvidia geforce 9800gx2 VC and i have been having issues with this nv4 blue screen or sometimes just makes everything HUGE and funny colored so uninstalled my driver for the card and got the newest driver and what do you know when i try to boot the computer i get the blue screen saying nv4 error infinite loop does anyone know what i can do to fix it ?

You have to uninstall the old driver, purge the system of orphaned driver files, THEN install the latest driver.

Download & install CCleaner Slim. Run both the cleaner & registry scan...remove everything it finds:


Uninstall the nVidia driver, reboot, enter safe mode, then use Driver Sweeper:


Install the latest nVidia drivers:

ok so far everything seems to be running alright i ran all the stuff now i just have to test it and see if the drivers messes up thanks a ton for the help !

alright im still getting the nv4 issue even after i did what you had said to do anything else we can do to try and fix it ?
