I have 2 HDD's. 80Gb (backup), 40Gb (WinNT-2k-XP)
I originally had 40Gb HDD on IDE1(ATA133) as master and 80Gb HDD on IDE1(ATA133) as slave.
BUT I wanted to install Linux which I cant find drivers for ATA133, so I put my 80Gb (backup) HDD on IDE1(ATA100) to install Linux on root of HDD, and kept 40Gb (WinNT-2k-XP) on IDE1(ATA133), now when I try to boot computer I get:
"NTLDR is missing, press ctrl-alt-del"So since my ATA133 is considered SCSI in my BIOS, I selected SCSI as 3rd boot option:
1- A
2- C
3- SCSI
** this did not get rid of bootup error !!** Do I have to copy the NTLDR, Ntdetect.com and boot.ini files from my 40Gb HDD to my 80GB HDD to make this work ??
Or is there another solution ???
Thanks
