Hi,
I am installing a new Maxtor 160GB HD here. After using Maxtor's util to partition my drive, I get a message at boot:
NTLDR is missing press CTRL+ALT+DEL to reboot.
I've never seen this NTLDR message and I am wondering what I should do. I'd like to install XP (full install) on it. I'm trying to do a 130gb part. and a 30gb part. through Maxtor's util. Any suggestions? Thanks Tim

I saw this message on my screen the other day. I bought a second hand hard drive not knowing if anything on it. This is the message i got when i connnected it as master drive. i assumed it meant there was no operating system on it. It was partioned as one small partition and one large. I repartitioned it as one large partition, formatted, installed operating system and all was fine.
