I have a ntfs formatted hard drive from my old laptop, i used a usb enclosure and connected it to my new laptop to copy my files. the hard drive is being detected and even shows up on my computer but when i check the properties of the hard drive it shows zero bytes and im unable to open the drive.
Well the problem i found is that when i open disk management it shows the drive and its file system is shown as raw, but when i reconnect the hdd back into my old laptop its working just that while booting it shows a BSD, which would mean the data is still accessable on the drive but on vista its showing up as raw partition.
