I am trying to swap out my old GeForce 7500 with a new Radeon HD 5850, as well as a new 750 watt power supply. The power supply works, as when I leave the old 7500 in the computer boots up fine, and when I put the new 5850 in everything starts up, the fans turn on, etc. But nothing shows up on the monitor. There's no beeps no nothing. I even tried installing all the drivers beforehand, still nothing. How would I go about figuring out what's wrong/fixing this? Thanks

Same happened to me. Testing showed my video card was bad. I was trying to add a card, but windows would not recognize a new card other than my onboard. The fan would spin, but no display. Verify it is seated properly. If you have access to another computer to test it on, that might be your issue. Bought a new card and it was recognized right away.
