Ok so im working on my first build, and ive been getting some of the parts this week. Yesterday i had my psu hooked up in my case, connected to the motherboard and two fans, and when i turned the power supply on the fans would work and a light came on on the back of the psu. Today i recived and installed the cpu/heatsink/fan and two sticks of ram, all i need is my graphics card. Except today when i plug in the psu and turn it on, nothing happens, the light on the unit doesnt even light up. Does anyone think they know what could have happened? My guess is the psu crapped out but i dont know why

this is my PSU:

Ok, i just found out that when i disconnect the psu from everything that the LED power indicator on the back of it will light up again. And then when i plug it in to the motherboard the cpu fan spins for a second. Could incorrectly seated ram cause the psu to not even power up?

A RAM problem can cause that. Try pulling the RAM and then try one stick at a time.
