someone please help. for the past month, my computer has not booted at all. everytime i push the power button, all that happens are that the fans spin, but nothing shows up on screen at all.

2.8c 800mhz fsb
2 gb 512x4 geil dual channel
asus p4p800 se
60 gb ibm 7200 rpm
80 gb maxtor 7200
300 gb seagate 7200
thermaltake va3000 tsunami
evga geforce 6800gs 256mb

That indicates a serious hardware problem. You probably should take it to a repair shop.

Do yourself a favor BACKUP!

I'd check the power supply first. I had this exact same problem a month ago; what had happened was that one of the power rails on the PSU went bad. So while it was able to spin the fans/drives, the CPU wasn't getting any power.

i've tried 3 different powersupplies. :(, same result.

thanks for letting me know. but if you read the other post, it's a different computer, with a different problem.

If you can only change PSU maybe PC Repair is not for you ??
