Notebook Doesn't start at all!

OS: Windows 2000
CPU/Ram: 1.0 Gig - 256 RAM

After I removed the RAM and placed it back from an IBM T23 Notebook, it doesn't start at all; I can see the green lights going on and then going off. The screen is like dead doesn't show anything (no lights, nothing). Any ideas.

The most obvious cause (easiest to check) would be the RAM not inserted correctly. Remove and try again.
