i get "not responding" messages more frequently everyday on MOST of my programmes, and the cpu usage is 90%+ on this occcasions and i hear some sounds coming from inside the laptop (probably from the processor, i don't know). i bought this laptop about 3 months ago and i really don't have many programmes or files on it, i've barely used half mf HDD space, what could be the problem? will the warranty cover any repairs that might have to be done?

a couple of things might be happening pertaining to memory or possible viruses and spyware how much memory is 2007 correct i assume its 1 gig plus vert mem ? have you ran virus scans and spyware scans? check your size for virt mem and also your registry size you can speed up a pc with these. not responding will probably have to do with running out of resources between your cpu and memory
