a friend "found" a panasonic portable dvd player dvd-lv75. only problem: Property of American Airlines stamped on front, it won't play commercially available dvds. How can I make it play regular dvds and if failing that, where can I find American Airlines sanctioned copies to play on this player? if anyone can help, otherwize it is trash

Who knows what the answer to your question is, but I would send it back to American, as it is probably propiety of some sort, and may not play ANYTHING not of their making.
